The movie is a sequel to the romantic comedy Happy New Year, a major box office success which achieved almost 600,000 cinema admissions in Slovakia and the Czech Republic and was distributed for television and streaming services in many other countries. The sequel has the same cast as the previous project. The story begins at Christmas time and New Year’s Eve, just as in the previous film, and continues through the summer holidays in Croatia where the wedding of two of the main characters is in preparation.
